bon voyage wenwen! a dear friend of mine is off to asia for a few weeks so we went out and sang our little hearts out to her at karaoke to wish her safe travels. i dont mean to toot my own horn but i sing a damn good mariah carey.

i went with a white story with a House of Holland tee that reads 'cause me pain hedi slimane' and white Levi's jeans that i made into shorts. and just so i can be a little matchy matchy i did my red Martin Margiela high-stop sneaks to go with the tee...

the most tragic part of the night occurred around 3am when i thought i was badass trying to make a short cut and ran over some cones. a cone happened to get wedged under my car that i couldnt get out for about 15 minutes. by the time i returned home, my white outfit was covered in black due to me rolling around on the floor to get the traffic cone un-stuck.

Palm Springs May 2010...

so i totally went to Palm Springs for a quick weekend get-away as a little prelude to summer. it was the first time i had ever stayed in Palm Springs and definitely not the last. i had the time of my life...great memories, great friends, great drinks, great weather. it was absolute perrrfection!

poolside at the Renaissance Hotel, where we stayed, enjoying my first drink of the trip: sunglasses by Yves Saint Laurent, tshirt by Morphine Generation, denim shirt by True Religion (sshhh dont tell anyone, we'll keep it our little secret!), cutoff denim shorts by Levi's, and shoes by Converse...

thanks to my good friend Emilio (who also provided as paparazzi for this whole trip), we stumble into the best bar of the trip: Spurline! im line dancing so god knows im having a good ol' time, obvi!

i used to be obsessed with Morphine Generation when it first came out years ago, not so much anymore. but i still have some great old pieces that ive collected and still wear today...

shirt by Morphine Generation, jeans by Levi's, shoes by Converse, sunglasses by Yves Saint Laurent. these aviator style glasses were my first pair of designer sunglasses i got back when i was like 16 in new york...i loved them so much that i have 2 in different colors!

i love how rude my friends can be with my wardrobe choices when i come over to their homes. they like to throw things about out of their way, such as my shoes, and like to say things like "oh my god! i love your dress!" well, i think they all need some diet cokes...im just sayin!

my breastie took me out to a post-birthday dinner at one of my favorite restaurants Habana. the red wine and coca cola cocktail is a-fucking-mazing!

I wore my Marc Jacobs baggy grey tee, my red Levi's, and Dior Homme sneaks. I accessorized the look with my Tom Ford 'Hawkings' sunglasses.
