finally figured out how to wear my Givenchy pants...

I finally found a way to make these pants look decent...remember when I couldnt figure out a way to wear these Givenchy pants?

black Guidi horsehair boots, Givenchy pants, black Rick Owens sleeveless tee, Ann Demuelemeester vest.

ive got issues...and i dont deny the fact that i need professional help...

...ive come to the conclusion that im probably the epitome of the word 'fashion victim'. why would one need so much leopard? and why is one so obsessed with Givenchy? i ask myself these questions as i type :-/

i've been talking about not purchasing a single item until these pieces come out and ive literally already started a fund for this collection! i think i may actually try to hold out until Spring/Summer 2011. from here on out im not going to buy a single thing from any other fashion house until i own some of this collection.

ive narrowed it down to the items below...i just cant decide on what pieces???!!!

im having a major fashion crisis...

so my dilemma: im having a problem that ive never encountered before. i have these Givenchy drop crotch balloon pants from the Spring/Summer 2010 show but i have NO IDEA how to style them or what to wear with them.....

mine are exactly the same except in the show, they were tailored to the shin. mine are full length like a normal pant.

i've tried almost every shoe (gladiators, boots, patent loafers, sneakers, etc), paired with every button down (white, black, sleeveless, striped, etc) paired with almost every jacket i own (leather, blazer, coat, etc) and NOTHING looks good with them. im beginning to wonder if i need to cut them short like the ones in the show?! im skeptical about cutting them and these are waaay too good to toss, i need HELP!!!

SAN FRANCISCO...

i know, i know...ive been mayjah lagging on this blog update! i guess its due to me partly being lazy to type and partly being too busy to update. but heres a good one...

i took a quick tornado day trip to San Francisco over the weekend and had the time of my life with ms Mary Mary quite contrary! I LOVE that city and even though i say this time and time again and never follow through with it, i swear im moving there soon. I just need something to give me a little push...

right when we landed we stopped at Foreign Cinemas in the Mission and had the best brunch ive ever had in my life! then it was a quick stop to Barneys to pick up some amazing Givenchy dhoti pants that im sure ill post in the near future.

for my quick shopping adventure i did a black Rick Owens tee layered under a Balenciaga jacket, which was perfect for the chill weather. cut off shorts by Paul Frank. topped of the look with shoes by Converse and sunnies by Dries Van Noten.

my bff Pawl took us all out to Honey SoundSystem at the Paradise Lounge in SoMa that night. im loving the whole vibe there with trannies and dudes in cow outfits... i sure as hell will definitely be going back.

Ann Demuelemeester button down. Louis Vuitton for Stephen Sprouse leopard scarf. Givenchy jeans. Comme Des Garcons half skirt (that Fisher from Maxfield talked me into getting). Alexander McQueen boots...

next trip to SF...FOLSOM!

i wake up to find out that the house of Givenchy has used Riccardo Tisci's personal assistant 'Lea T.' as model in their new ad campaign for Fall/Winter 2010 shot by Mert and Marcus in Paris. im kinda diggin the homoeroticism in the ads...way to go Givenchy!

so last night was the usual good night at the liz with gregory, brandon, and leila. i dont think ill ever get over my patron shots with a splash of tequila...its a sign that the night is bound to get better!

i went with a Dior Homme story yesterday: sunnies, red plaid shirt, and shoes...all by my former favorite fashion house. jeans by Bess NYC.

and i just now realized after viewing my last few posts that ive been wearing plaid a lot lately. maybe its time to lay off for a while...

can't decide between these 3...

so im looking for a new bag for gym/travel/overnight/work. ive been debating between these 3 murses for a minute now and can't decide which i want or need...

do i need the male version of the Givenchy 'Nightingale' bag? i do love me some Givenchy...

do i want to go ultra classic and do the Louis Vuitton 'Macassar' keepall? i like this one because its a new series they did with silver hardware and black leather as opposed to the typical gold hardware and khaki leather...

or do i just keep it in the family and get a giant black Balenciaga 'Weekender' so that my other Balenciaga can have a brother...

i left my heart in San Francisco...

i took a quick whirlwind weekend trip to San Francisco. Great friends, great food, great drinks, and shenanigans...what more could a man ask for?!

Day 2... pretty much went for the same motif. switched into the Bess NYC jeans along with the Bess NYC studded gloves. i wore this Givenchy TShirt underneath it all, even though it may be hard to tell...

i have sinned and ive lost my mind...i've been wearing WAAAY too much color as of late so i decided i go back to my religion of wearing all black. i better stop myself now before it gets too late!

last night was a good night out in the gay ghetto to participate in some tragic queens singing their little hearts out at the Silver Fox in the LBC.

i had on my trusty black Dior Homme jacket with two layered black tanks underneath: Rick Owens and Yohji Yamamoto. The sunglasses are Dior Homme.

and i'm still obsessing over these Bess NYC jeans i picked up with the studded pockets. These pants make me all kinds of tangy!

and to top it all off, i did the Dior Homme beat up white sneaks. Which reminds me...i need new shoes!

oh and PPS...i told you i'd have white eyebrows for my next outing! unfortunately, i think adriana lima did it better for Givenchy. well, you live and you learn!

now i have to squeeze in a disco diva nap before the Fremont fashion show tonight...what to wear, what to wear?!

I tragically turned 24 today which im NOT happy about!

So i went to dinner last night at the Mondrian with some close friends. Then we hopped over to Bar Marmont @ the Chateau Marmont for a celebratory soiree where the rest of my kids and kats joined to partake in watching me do jack and coke after jack and coke...with maybe a handful of shots of tequila mixed all up in there...

For the tragic event, i decided to throw on a Dior Homme shirt along with a jacket(not pictured), which i both picked up back from when Hedi Slimane was still God at Dior Homme. I got it from the last collection he did for the fashion house back in F/W 2007...

(except i decided to leave the collar open just to avoid looking like ive joined the priesthood)

i chose the gradated Givenchy jeans that fade from black to grey as it goes down the pant leg,

and for the kicks, my good old trusty pair of white, dusty, beat up Converse chucks.

I still get WAY wet just thinking about Hedi's last collection for Dior...is it sad that I just spent the last half hour looking at old pics from Style.com and taking a nice long stroll down memory lane?

Speaking of the past...i think i can honestly say this year was one of the better birthdays ive ever had. maybe a little (just a LiiiTTLE) has to do with my bestie pawl coming all the way down from SF to surprise me. so basicreee, my friends are better than your friends fosho!

i LOVE black and i LOVE givenchy...

my dear friend monica taught me years ago to embrace the color black. with her as my 'black' muse, ive been wearing it religiously ever since

So today I wore a black Givenchy wool sweater (pictured in camel from Givenchy Fall 2009) with the black sash detail along with leather pants by Diesel...

and Prada's take on the Dr. Martens (Prada Fall 2009) in this gorgeous oxblood colored shoe similar to the show shoe, minus the wingtip detailing.

i promise to use my real camera in the next few postings to come...
