I finally found a way to make these pants look decent...remember when I couldnt figure out a way to wear these Givenchy pants?

backyard BBQ @ Habana...

the summer is almost over and so are the summer backyard BBQ's at Habana. with street taco's, quesadilla's, and BBQ corn...gotta get em' while they last!!!

enjoyed an amazing dinner with even more amazing caipirinha's with Wendy to celebrate her first day back to work from traveling overseas to Asia town for a few weeks.

the weather is starting to get pretty chilly at night. therefore: a Rick Owens sleeveless tee layered under a Yohji Yamamoto black tank. Hanes hoodie under an Ann Demuelemeester leather jacket. Ksubi, back when they were Tsubi, jeans. Swear by London shoes. Bess NYC leather gloves. Dries Van Noten sunnies!

speaking of Ricky O...i just received an AMAZING jacket in the mail. I'm sure its going to be my 'go-to' jacket for fall...

SAN FRANCISCO...

i know, i know...ive been mayjah lagging on this blog update! i guess its due to me partly being lazy to type and partly being too busy to update. but heres a good one...

i took a quick tornado day trip to San Francisco over the weekend and had the time of my life with ms Mary Mary quite contrary! I LOVE that city and even though i say this time and time again and never follow through with it, i swear im moving there soon. I just need something to give me a little push...

right when we landed we stopped at Foreign Cinemas in the Mission and had the best brunch ive ever had in my life! then it was a quick stop to Barneys to pick up some amazing Givenchy dhoti pants that im sure ill post in the near future.

for my quick shopping adventure i did a black Rick Owens tee layered under a Balenciaga jacket, which was perfect for the chill weather. cut off shorts by Paul Frank. topped of the look with shoes by Converse and sunnies by Dries Van Noten.

my bff Pawl took us all out to Honey SoundSystem at the Paradise Lounge in SoMa that night. im loving the whole vibe there with trannies and dudes in cow outfits... i sure as hell will definitely be going back.

i left my heart in San Francisco...

i took a quick whirlwind weekend trip to San Francisco. Great friends, great food, great drinks, and shenanigans...what more could a man ask for?!

day 1... i wore 2 layered Rick Owens tee's under a black Hanes hoodie and black Ann Demuelemeester leather jacket. Graphic print dhoti pant by Henrik Vibskov. Shoes by Converse. Sunglasses by Tom Ford.

Day 2... pretty much went for the same motif. switched into the Bess NYC jeans along with the Bess NYC studded gloves. i wore this Givenchy TShirt underneath it all, even though it may be hard to tell...

thought i was going to have a quiet night in all by me lonesome...

...i was wrong.

i somehow ended up staggering into 3 lovely bars and crashing on a friends couch. tragic, good times!

my favorite piece of this ensemble is my reversible Ann Demuelemeester vest that i acquired last summer at Barneys in San Francisco. the vest can be worn as it is, striped, or reversed to just a plain black vest. i can virtually wear the same vest 2 nights in a row and no one would ever know...how very recessionista of me, no?!
