a dear old friend Megan came into town from her (hopefully temporary) new home over on the east coast so we decided to catch up while enjoying some chicken and salmon at Habana with Monica. Better late than never: CONGRATULATIONS ON THE ENGAGEMENT MEGAN!!!

after dinner at Habana, the girls left me to fly solo to a birthday party at Commissary (Happy Birthday Thomas!). after a few drinks i ran over to the usual bar to meet up with Sebastien!

i know, i know...ive been mayjah lagging on this blog update! i guess its due to me partly being lazy to type and partly being too busy to update. but heres a good one...

i took a quick tornado day trip to San Francisco over the weekend and had the time of my life with ms Mary Mary quite contrary! I LOVE that city and even though i say this time and time again and never follow through with it, i swear im moving there soon. I just need something to give me a little push...

right when we landed we stopped at Foreign Cinemas in the Mission and had the best brunch ive ever had in my life! then it was a quick stop to Barneys to pick up some amazing Givenchy dhoti pants that im sure ill post in the near future.

for my quick shopping adventure i did a black Rick Owens tee layered under a Balenciaga jacket, which was perfect for the chill weather. cut off shorts by Paul Frank. topped of the look with shoes by Converse and sunnies by Dries Van Noten.

my bff Pawl took us all out to Honey SoundSystem at the Paradise Lounge in SoMa that night. im loving the whole vibe there with trannies and dudes in cow outfits... i sure as hell will definitely be going back.

last night was Bryan's sister's last night in town so i did dinner with her and the boys and stayed up chatting and giggling like a bunch of naughty schoolgirls til the wee hours of the morn...

i had the most AMAZING time last night at dinner and karaoke after work with some friends.

i basically ordered the whole left side of the menu for dinner at Tokyo Table and then went over to sing some tragic karaoke with some silly drunkards.

some top hits for the night were Mariah Carey, Guns N Roses, Spice Girls, Lady GaGa, and David Bowie. my vocal chops were in some pain last night as i went to bed.

i sang my little heart out in 2 layered Rick Owens tees, a khaki Balenciaga shirt, my all time FAVORITE pair of Comme des Garcons dhoti pants, and my Balenciaga gladiator mandals.

i just went into the Christian Louboutin store today and fell in LOOOOOVE with some shoes that i would murder a bitch for. How am i going to justify spending $1500 on a pair of shoes?! A PAIR OF FUCKING SHOES?! i need mayjah help...

i somehow ended up staggering into 3 lovely bars and crashing on a friends couch. tragic, good times!

my favorite piece of this ensemble is my reversible Ann Demuelemeester vest that i acquired last summer at Barneys in San Francisco. the vest can be worn as it is, striped, or reversed to just a plain black vest. i can virtually wear the same vest 2 nights in a row and no one would ever know...how very recessionista of me, no?!

anyway, remember those cute House of Holland tshirts with the sayings on them like "harder, harder Muccia Prada" and "do me in the park, Marc"? Well being a die-hard fan as i used to be of Hedi Slimane, it would only make sense for me to have the one that said "cause me pain, Hedi Slimane".

i paired the tee with a jacket from Dior Homme, pants from Comme des Garcons, an H&M scarf, my Linda Farrow for Bernhard Willhelm sunglasses, and Bess NYC gloves.

has anyone else been obsessed with Bess NYC lately? These fingerless leather gloves definitely wouldnt be the same without the spikes they put on them....next on my list are their converse sneaks with studs all over. uh, duh!!!
